Kindtree is built on kindness. These guidelines keep it that way.

Last updated: March 2026

Every gathering on Kindtree is an act of generosity — someone sharing their time, skill and passion with strangers. These guidelines exist to protect that spirit and ensure everyone feels safe, respected and welcome.

For everyone

·

Be honest.

Represent yourself and your gatherings accurately. Don't promise what you can't deliver.

·

Be kind.

Treat every person you meet through Kindtree with respect — regardless of their background, identity or experience level.

·

Be present.

If you commit to something, show up. If you can't, give as much notice as possible.

·

Be safe.

Don't put yourself or others in danger. If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and let us know.

For creators

·

Set clear expectations.

Write accurate descriptions. Tell people exactly what to bring, what will happen, and what the space is like. Surprises are fine. Disappointments are not.

·

Honour your commitments.

If you need to cancel, do it as early as possible and refund anyone who has paid.

·

Welcome everyone.

Your gathering is open to anyone who signs up unless you have specifically stated otherwise. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

·

Handle money fairly.

Be transparent about costs. Don't charge hidden fees. Resolve payment disputes with good faith.

For seekers

·

Register with intention.

Only register if you genuinely plan to attend. Unfilled spots hurt creators and other community members.

·

Cancel properly.

If you can't make it, cancel as early as possible and in accordance with the creator's cancellation policy.

·

Pay promptly.

If a gathering has a cost, pay the creator as soon as you register. They're counting on it.

·

Respect the space.

Whether it's someone's home, studio or a public park — leave it as you found it.

What we don't allow

Fake or misleading listings

Discrimination of any kind

Harassment or threatening behaviour

Collecting payment without hosting the gathering

Sharing other users' personal information without consent

Using the platform for illegal activities

Spamming or unsolicited promotion

Any content that sexualises minors

Reporting and enforcement

If something feels wrong, tell us. Email hello@kindtree.com with details and we will investigate promptly.

Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent ban depending on severity.

We take every report seriously. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports in good faith.

"We started Kindtree because we believe human connection is worth protecting. Every time you host or attend a gathering you're contributing to something bigger than yourself.

Thank you for being part of it."
