Kindtree is built on kindness. These guidelines keep it that way.
Last updated: March 2026
For everyone
Represent yourself and your gatherings accurately. Don't promise what you can't deliver.
Treat every person you meet through Kindtree with respect — regardless of their background, identity or experience level.
If you commit to something, show up. If you can't, give as much notice as possible.
Don't put yourself or others in danger. If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and let us know.
For creators
Write accurate descriptions. Tell people exactly what to bring, what will happen, and what the space is like. Surprises are fine. Disappointments are not.
If you need to cancel, do it as early as possible and refund anyone who has paid.
Your gathering is open to anyone who signs up unless you have specifically stated otherwise. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Be transparent about costs. Don't charge hidden fees. Resolve payment disputes with good faith.
For seekers
Only register if you genuinely plan to attend. Unfilled spots hurt creators and other community members.
If you can't make it, cancel as early as possible and in accordance with the creator's cancellation policy.
If a gathering has a cost, pay the creator as soon as you register. They're counting on it.
Whether it's someone's home, studio or a public park — leave it as you found it.
What we don't allow
Reporting and enforcement
"We started Kindtree because we believe human connection is worth protecting. Every time you host or attend a gathering you're contributing to something bigger than yourself.
Thank you for being part of it."
