- Payment handle information (e.g. Venmo username) — we do not collect payment card numbers or bank details.
- Communications with other users and with Kindi our AI assistant.

- Device type, browser and operating system.
- Pages visited and features used on the Platform.
- Referring URLs.
Information from third parties
If you sign in with Google or Microsoft we receive your name and email address from those services.
3. How We Use Your Information
To operate the Platform
Creating and managing your account. Displaying your profile and listings to other users. Processing bookings and registrations. Sending transactional emails and notifications.
To improve the Platform
Analysing usage patterns. Debugging and fixing issues. Developing new features.
For safety and security
Detecting and preventing fraud and abuse. Enforcing our Terms of Service.
For communications
Sending you updates about the Platform. Responding to your enquiries. Sending marketing emails where you have opted in.
4. How We Share Your Information
With other users
Your profile, listings and reviews are visible to other users as part of the Platform's normal operation.
With service providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform including hosting (Vercel, Supabase), email (Novu), analytics (Posthog) and AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI).
For legal reasons
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Kindtree or its users.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.

Aggregated and anonymised data may be retained indefinitely.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
12. Third Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Google Places, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Posthog, Novu and payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, CashApp). These services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.
13. AI and Data
We use AI services including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI to power features like Kindi our gathering assistant and our listing builder.
Conversations with Kindi and content generated through AI features may be processed by these third-party AI providers in accordance with their privacy policies.
We do not use your personal conversations to train third-party AI models.
If you bring your own API key for AI features your data is governed by your agreement with that provider.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform.
